Dutchess was bred by Hennigan Friesians. She was born June 2009, a peanut, but an incredible mover from the moment she hit her hooves. She is now 4 years old, and very beautiful. She has a long swan neck with exquisite head. She has a short back and good conformation. And, she is still an incredible mover! She has power and propulsion, and is a forward mover. She has started training under saddle, and loves to work. She is going to bond with whomever forms a relationship with her. She likes her "special" people. She isn't for a beginner, she needs a more experienced rider/horse person. She has TONS of potential for the show ring, the keur, and for breeding. Dutchess has grown to 15 hands, and is still growing. So, she is on the small side for a Friesian, which is perfect for the right junior rider or adult.
Dutchess is good for the farrier, the vet, and grooming. She loves all your attention focused on her.
Dutchess is doing great under saddle. She is very willing, and wants to please. And, she really enjoys the trails, which
you can see in the pictures above. She is a real looker under saddle. Very light in the bridle, and good off the leg. She is cantering, and is very smooth. She has that presence that will do great in the show ring. Lots of potential in this girl!!
She is a forward moving Friesian with a whole lot of potential to be the perfect partner for the right person.
Her father is a Champion driving horse in Holland, besting many other Approved Stallion in harness. Wierd is a son of Folkert, many time Champion and Reserve Champion Stallion at the Stallion show. Dutchess' mother, Ellie, is one of our Protectowire horses. She is a 3x 1st premie mare, who is absolutely exquisite. Ellie has all ready produced 2 ster offspring, and is on her way to preferent. She comes from stam line 61, a vey strong mare line. Dutchess is from the last foal crop of retired breeder Jorritsma, a reknowned Friesian breeder. Dutchess mare line is ster(2 ster kids), ster(2 ster kids), ster+pref, ster+pref,ster+pref. She was bred to be special, and she is!
